South Harris beach, located on the islands of Lewis and Harris is a renowned beach on the Scottish waters. It was recently named the number one island in Europe by TripAdvisor and after you have walked a mile upon the pristine white sands – you will see why.
Sango Bay, is located on Scotland’s far north coast, making the next stop the artic. Durness cliffs were once a regular passing place for Vikings and are home the enchanting Smoo Cave. These spectacular sights can be explored by boat, where you will also see a 20 metre high waterfall!
Loch Morlich, perhaps one of Scotland’s least known beaches, is considered a hidden gem amongst locals. It is located 40km from the sea in the heart of the Cairngorms but in a world of its own. Visit its golden sands and outstanding wavelets to see for yourself.
The Big Sand beach is sheltered from the onshore wind by Longa Island and boasts a magnificent view of the mountains of Skye and Torridon. Situated between these two mountains, the shining strip of white gold sand is ready for you to treasure.
This beach comes with its own clifftop castle and breath-taking views of the spectacular Bass Rock. Sir David Attenborough refers to Seacliff as ‘one of the wildlife wonders of the world’ so be sure to bring a set of binoculars with you.
